With extensive professional career experience in solar and wind design, the homeowner completed both the LEED rating system’s checklist for the home, attaining “66” points and the Gold Level (v4.1, 2021 for LEED Home Design and Construction project criteria; Range: 60-79 points) – and using the NAHB Residential Green Building Standard, the home attained “789” points, the highest Emerald level (across all six categories of the ICC 700-2020 National Association of Green Builders Standards).
